SSG Timothy R. McGill 07/18/1983 – 09/21/2013
In support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, SSG McGill was KIA of wounds received from small-arms fire in Paktika Province during his second deployment to Afghanistan.
McGill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2001. He joined the Rhode Island Army National Guard in 2008 and was assigned to 1st Battalion, 200th Infantry Regiment.
SSG McGill graduated from the Special Forces Qualification Course in August 2011 and was assigned as a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant to 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, in Middletown, Rhode Island, where he served until his death.
3rd Annual Green Beret 2-Gun
Our 3rd annual rifle / pistol 2-gun charity competition is designed to challenge shooters of all skill level in a complex and tactical environment. Competitors will get to display their ability to perform under pressure and adapt to challenging stages.
NEW SHOOTERS WELCOME!!! We design these stages so that first time competitors can experience the event, but also make them challenging enough for the seasoned professional to have a fun time.
All proceeds will be dedicated to building a memorial in SSG McGill's name at the 19th Special Forces Group Armory, R.I.

Tactical Division Requirements
-Plate carrier w/ plates

-Total kit weight including loaded mags must meet a 20lb minimum. Kits will be weighed morning of.
Tactical vs Rifle Division
Both divisions will shoot the same stage concepts, however the Tactical Division will have some type of physical stressor before they shoot (push ups, sprints, farmer carry, buddy carry etc.). The Tac division WILL SMOKE YOU, so register in the appropriate division as to your capabilities.
